The City of Lewisville’s Community Grants division is soliciting public comment on the 2018-2019 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan. This document is available for public comment July 6 through Aug. 6, when City Council will hold a public hearing. The action plan can be found on the Community Development Block Grants page on cityoflewisville.com.
The Neighborhood and Inspection Services Department, Grants Division of the City of Lewisville worked with community residents, groups and agencies to create the 2017-2021 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development. The strategies, goals and objectives of the Consolidated Plan guide the allocation of the City’s CDBG entitlement funding to benefit Lewisville’s low-to-moderate-income persons, clients, households or neighborhoods.
This Annual Action Plan outlines specific projects and services that will be funded during the 2018 Program Year. The city will receive $699,808 in Community Development Block Grant funds.
