Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department will hold an Open House public meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the Glenmore Savage Community Room at the Municipal Annex, 1197 W. Main Street.

The purpose of this public meeting is to solicit input from residents regarding updates to the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plans. The Parks and Recreation Department wants to learn about residents’ favorite parks, playgrounds, gyms and trails in Lewisville.

The goal is to improve the parks system to create better places to play, enjoy nature, and spend time with family and friends.

Enhancing and expanding the city’s parks and trails is a key recommendation of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan, directly addressing two of the nine Big Moves in the plan – Green Centerpiece, and Extending the Green. For information about the City’s vision plan, please visit ltjne.ws/2025.
