Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department will hold an Open House public meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 10 in the Glenmore Savage Community Room at the Municipal Annex, 1197 W. Main Street to present the results of potential updates to the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plans collected in fall 2017.
The goal of the update to the Master Plan is to improve the parks system to create better places to play, enjoy nature, and spend time with family and friends.
Enhancing and expanding the city’s parks and trails is a key recommendation of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan, directly addressing two of the nine Big Moves in the plan – Green Centerpiece, and Extending the Green.
