Texas Tunes’ seventh season kicks off Jan. 14 with Radney Foster

Radney Foster will be the opening act of the 2017 Texas Tunes concert series when he takes the stage at Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street, on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The legendary guitarist from Del Rio started playing guitar when he was 12. He left college to write songs in Nashville and met Bill Lloyd. Foster and Lloyd recorded three albums that produced a number of top 10 country hits before Radney went solo in 1991. Since then, he has become one of the most respected singer-songwriters around. His most recent album, Everything I Should Have Said, brings his first new song in five years.

The show will start at 8 p.m. in the Performance Hall of the MCL Grand. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for seniors age 60 and older, $10 for children ages 12 and younger, and can be purchased online at MCLGrand.tix.com. Tickets also are available at the customer service window of Lewisville City Hall, 151 W. Church Street.
